My Story

The story behind Walk The Streets

Lee’s Story – Founder of Walk the Streets Coaching and Mentoring

I grew up in a broken home, surrounded by violence and instability. By the age of 10, I had lost both parents. Passed between family members, I faced abuse, bullying, and rejection. At 18, I found my grandad dead. A year later, I was homeless, having lost all trust in people.

I felt like nothing more than a number, so I turned to alcohol and drugs to cope. I spiralled into instability, sleeping rough with nowhere to turn. My health deteriorated so badly that I spent a week on a heart monitor just to stay alive. It felt like I didn’t exist — like I was already gone. But through it all, I never gave up hope.

Growing up, I knew I was different, and later learned I am neurodivergent. Everything began to change when I was introduced to three simple but powerful questions. They became my compass, guiding me to rebuild my life, transform my mindset, and discover a new way forward.

Those questions form the foundation of the Rewrite Framework — a method I created to help others find clarity, overcome obstacles, and unlock their full potential. It’s the heart of Walk the Streets Coaching and Mentoring.

I believe everyone has the right to live with confidence, resilience, and purpose. That’s why I share my story and the Rewrite Framework through coaching, mentoring, and public speaking — to show that no matter where you start, you can rewrite your future.

For peace of mind, all my work is backed by Professional Indemnity Insurance, ensuring I provide a safe and professional service to every individual, charity, community organisation, and company I support.

If you’re ready to explore your own path and unlock your potential, I’d love to support you.
